GIVEAWAY MONDAY
*** and the winner is (selected by random.org) - comment # 27 - Sandy - whose favorite movie to watch with her DH is Beaches. *****
It's Monday: giveaway day! I'm breaking the run of kids' DVDs I've been doing, and offering a perfect date night at home movie. I have a DVD copy of Then She Found Me starring Matthew Broderick, Helen Hunt, Bette Midler, and Colin Firth.
To enter to win, leave me a comment about the last movie you both loved. Is your significant other game for a chick flick or are you open to summer blockbusters? DO you lust after James Bond while he lusts after the Bond girls? Or do you meet go to the movies together and separate to see different movies because you just can't agree? Give me the scoop in your comments and I will pick the winner at random on Monday, October 13. Don't forget to include an email address or a link to a blog with an identifiable email. For extra chances to win, link to this contest on your blog or subscribe to my feed. I'll pick the winner at random on Monday, October 13.
The members of Then She Found Me's all-star cast put on amazing performances. Helen Hunt plays a school teacher who is married to Matthew Broderick. She is eager to start a family, but he unexpectedly leaves her. Her life gets further thrown into confusion by her eccentric talk-show host birth mother, played by Bette Midler, and the advances of a divorced dad played by Colin Firth. This enjoyable dramedy will give you a great couch movie night.
If you haven't done so yet, there's still plenty of time to enter my other giveaway for the iCarly Season 1 DVD.

My DH and I love Dances with Wolves. It has the best of both- for him a western type movie and for me a love story. So I guess you could call it a western chick flick. Our second is a true chick flick it is A Walk in the Clouds. Please enter me. I would love to see this movie.
My favorite movie of all time is Pride and Prejudice - any version, but especially the one with Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFayden. But two movies that I've seen recently that I loved were Get Smart (so funny!) and Made of Honor!

3 part giveaway!
The last movie we saw was the Dark Knight. My boyfriend loved it but I thought it was quite disturbing. It was good but just a bit shocking. I am more a chick flick type of girl. My mom watched this movie just a little while ago and tole me it was great! I can't wait to see it. Thanks for the chance!
My husband and I both really enjoyed Before Sunrise and then couldn't wait to see the "sequel," Before Sunset. Both were really smart movies of essentially just two people talking as they explore Vienna in the first and Paris in the second, nine years later. Really well done.
We liked Batman.
