Hello. I'm Chefdruck, a French Foodie recently transplanted from NJ to the Midwest with her husband and three kids.
Let me just start off by answering a question I get a lot. No, I am not a professionally trained chef. I've taken a ton of recreational cooking classes and have learned most of what I know from hanging out in my mother's kitchen growing up in France. But I do aspire to be a real chef, one day, when I grow up.
The dream begins after my kids leave the nest for college or other pursuits. That's when my husband and I will spend a couple of years traveling the world attending various cooking schools. And then we'll come back to a cozy little town somewhere in the States and open up our little restaurant. We hope you'll drop by and break bread with us.
This blog is my space to talk about all my passions: cooking, family, books, movies, writing and anything else that catches my fancy.
